Paradise (2023) | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Stephen Romei The Australian This is a well-made, thought-provoking movie set in the near future. It’s the sort of science fiction that feels closer to science than fiction. Rated: 3/5 Aug 5, 2023 Full Review Paradise (2023) | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Joshua Polanski Boston Hassle lack of a political imagination Jul 5, 2024 Full Review Paradise (2023) | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Susan Granger SSG Syndicate Despite its intriguing premise about ageism and buying 'time,' Boris Kunz's dystopian thriller soon becomes formulaic and forgettable. Rated: 4/10 Aug 24, 2023 Full Review Paradise (2023) | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Brian Costello Common Sense Media This is an entertaining and thoughtful dystopian sci-fi about aging and the vast chasm between the very rich and the very poor. Rated: 4/5 Aug 16, 2023 Full Review Paradise (2023) | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews In its more serious moments warns us how revolting things can get when the people of science greedily sell their souls for capitalistic gain. Audience Member Very slow. Had an interesting premise, and could have been an awesome moral dilemma if it wasn't so obvious who's the bad guy here. Best parts of the movie were the 2 sec of boobs you see. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Audience Member Who is wrong and who is right? I loved this, and teaches that maybe what you think is fine is probably the completely opposite. The 2 hours felt short. Excellent movie. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/24 Full Review Jerod S Paradise explores a world where you can sell some of your years for $ and others can gain youth. It's a moral wreck, but a decent sci-fi based thriller where a man is trying to get his young wife back. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Audience Member Leftist politicians manufactured this poor people’s immigration paradise. Then Hollywood manufactures some excuses for it. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/24 Full Review Oriana W I absolutely found this movie engaging, and loved the ethical and moral challenges poised. The scientific breakthrough was a fresh idea to ponder. Found it a bit unpredictable as well, which is refreshing these days. As puzzles are revealed, moral choices shift as well. Well written, so Enjoyed the plot Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/05/24 Full Review Christine S Loved this movie, very entertaining and thought provoking. It was kinda like ‘in time’ but 100x better. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews
